‘Tis the Season of sharing!
Please join us at Beth Wright Cancer Resource Center/Baileyville Community Connections Center (163 Main St) for some hot chocolate, cookies and sharing your program resources/opportunities for our community. If you want to bring a table to set up in our space and handout information regarding your programs, or if you just want to come mingle with folks as they come and go – all area community partners are welcome. This begins before the Baileyville Christmas Parade this Friday, 13th from 4 – 6 pm. Hope to see you there!
This month, the StoryWalk® at Porter Memorial Library in Machias features, “The Scallop Christmas,” written by Jane Freeburg and illustrated by Astrid Sheckels. Based on a true story recounted by a friend of the author, this inspiring tale is narrated by a young girl living in a small New England fishing village during a period when money and work were scarce.
