Caregiver Basic Skills part 1: Physical Care – this is a free workshop designed for family/friends/neighbors providing physical care for a person with mobility and cognitive challenges. Presented by Rosemary Nevala, RN with Pamela Grant, CNA on April 25, 2018 at Marshall Healthcare Facility from 8:30 am to 12:30 pm. This hands-on workshop includes:
- how to safely move a frail or heavy person
- advice on hygiene care for a person with dementia
- protocol for what to do in emergencies
- supports for caregivers
