Family Harvest Meal 2023

Everyone loves a roast chicken dinner with mashed potatoes and gravy, especially if Angie Garrison from Angie’s Comfort Kitchen is cooking! The Community Caring Collaborative is delighted to invite community members to join us for dinner at our 5th annual Family Harvest Meal in Machias on October 27th at the Lee Pellon Center.  We know that not everyone has the means, the time, or sometimes the energy to make a big meal at home. And for busy parents taking their kids trick or treating down Main Street in Machias, having a meal ready at the end of the route means they don’t have to think about dinner when they get home.

We’re planning on hundreds of meals, and we’re asking for your help in making sure families get to enjoy dinner after trick or treating down Main Street in Machias.  We have resource tables available for your organization to share materials or run/donate kids’ activities.  We’re looking for volunteers to help us set up, serve, and clean up.  Contact Christy at claurel@cccmaine.org if you’d like a table or to volunteer.

This year we’re accepting donations where people can choose to sponsor meals at $15 each on our Givebutter site.
