Family Harvest Meal 2024
October 31 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Welcome to the CCC’s 6th annual Family Harvest Meal, a free public supper with resource tables and raffle prizes following Trick or Treat Down Main Street in Machias at the Lee Pellon Center from 4 — 6 pm. All are welcome to eat in or take food to go. This year’s menu catered by Angie’s Comfort Kitchen is roast turkey, mashed potatoes, stuffing, gravy, and harvest vegetables with mac ‘n cheese as an alternate entree. Desserts include apple and blueberry crisp, and cookies and brownies donated by Machias Memorial High School, Washington Academy and the West Lubec Methodist Church. Download a flyer to share.
Adding to the spooky fun this year is a haunted house just outside the Lee Pellon Center coordinated by the Machias Arts Council.
Like to get involved? We’re always looking for people to help us set up, serve, bus tables, and more. Contact Charley Martin-Berry (cmartinberry@cccmaine.org) to volunteer. Set-up starts at 12:30, resource tables can be set up between 2 – 3 pm, and servers are asked to arrive by 3:30 pm.
